Halloween Eve

Like Christmas and New Year have "Eves" This year Halloween does too, but only because I couldn't choose between two LEGO creations. This is currently the centre piece on the dinner table for Lily to look at. A spooky pumpkin wagon, complete with ghoulish horsemen.

I've already managed to fill the LEGO shelves to the brim. Fortunately the B-Wing on the Star Wars shelf can stand on its tail and takes up less space, but it needs 18" of height. So a few Technic beams later and I've got a mezzanine level!

Christmas is coming

Last year I treated myself to the Star Wars advent calendar. This years version has just come out so I've nabbed a copy. I haven't looked at the pictures too much so hopefully it'll be a surprise!

Operation tidy up complete

After a year of balancing LEGO sets on the sofa bed in the study it was time to clear up. Old boxes have gone out (who needs the box anymore?!) new shelves installed and lots of plastic blockyness laid out.

Docking station

A bit of eBay shopping has seen some older sets arriving. This one is pretty modern by previous standards. HAiling from the mid 2000s. The B-Wing has recently been re-released in UCS form for big money. Far more pocket friendly is this more basic version. Sat in its docking station ready for a flight.

Operation tidy up

My study is where all my LEGO is stored. Boxes are piling up, sets are dumped together. Something needs to be done.

Clearing the rubbish

With the plans I've got for my study/LEGO room I'll be needing a bulldozer to shift stuff!
